"......I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly". John 10:10
SEE YOUR DOCTOR:
A medical professional is the only person who can make a diagnosis for depression and/or an anxiety disorder. This is an important step.
SEEK COUNSELING:
If you believe your issues are too sensitive to share with those closest to you, you may want to find a certified counselor. Please view the community resources options for recommended counselors. If you live places other than southeast Georgia, go to the Internet for counselors in your area.
EATING HEALTHY:
It's amazing, but what you eat can affect your mood. Usually with depression, you don't care about yourself or anything for that matter. But if you can reach out just a little and grab an apple instead of cake, drink more water, etc,. Those positive experiences could spark and feed your true desire, which is to be well.
TALK TO A FRIEND:
It's okay to tell someone about your feelings. A trusted person (family members or friends) may have experiences of their own with this problem and may offer ways to help. Talking about your feelings does make you feel better.
TALK WITH YOUR PASTOR OR SPIRITUAL LEADER:
Never be afraid to seek spiritual counseling. Your Pastors and church leaders are there to offer guidance.
EMPOWER YOURSELF WITH INFORMATION:
God's word says that His people perish for lack of knowledge. I recommend the following websites; they have wonderful information and useful tips on how you can refresh yourself today:
